Module 2: Durban – Port Elizabeth (overnights 8 – 12)

Participants from module two will join the rest of the group on day eight (main tour) in Durban. Next we drive to one of South Africa's most beautiful mountain ranges namely the Drakensberg. After hiking and exploring the area (or even braving the steep Sani Pass - the only road link from KZN into the mountain kingdom of Lesotho - on a 4x4 excursion) we continue to the quaint wild coastal town of Port St Johns. We travel to Haga-Haga next (our second stop on the Wild Coast) and from there to Port Elizabeth where module three will commence on day 13.

South Africa is known for its enchanting sunrises. To make your experience all the more enthralling we have arranged a morning game drive (air-conditioned vehicle) in the park before heading off to the tiny landlocked kingdom of Swaziland. Our base for the next two nights is Mlilwane Sanctuary (if available).

Many visitors have marked this as the highlight of the Ezulwini Valley. You can experience the Swazi way of life by sleeping in a traditional beehive hut (chalets are available on request).

NB: Passports are necessary at the Swaziland border post!

Day 6: Swaziland
