Overview

Your African dream could be made reality with Highline Tours & Travel's Highlights of South Africa modular tour. Clients have the option of leaving/joining the tour at specific intervals or participating for the full 21 days. Clients will be enthralled by South Africa's kaleidoscope of cultures and incredible safari and wildlife experiences.

Module 1(Main): Johannesburg – Durban (overnights 1 – 7)

Upon arrival in South Africa you will have the option of doing either a tour of Pretoria or the local township Soweto. After day one there is no turning back. Before your ultimate safari experience begins we have a day filled with breathtaking sights and scenery planned for you. The destination: The Greater Kruger Area via the Panorama Route. read more »

Module 2: Durban – Port Elizabeth (overnights 8 – 12)

Participants from module two will join the rest of the group on day eight (main tour) in Durban. Next we drive to one of South Africa's most beautiful mountain ranges namely the Drakensberg. After hiking and exploring the area (or even braving the steep Sani Pass - the only road link from KZN into the mountain kingdom of Lesotho - on a 4x4 excursion) we continue to the quaint wild coastal town of Port St Johns. We travel to Haga-Haga next (our second stop on the Wild Coast) and from there to Port Elizabeth where module three will commence on day 13. read more »

Module 3: Addo – Cape Town (overnights 13 – 20)

Addo Elephant National Park is our next stop. The park houses more than 450 elephants and at the end of 2003 lion and leopard were also introduced. Addo is a Big 5 Game Park. A morning game drive is included before our departure for Plettenberg Bay, with a short visit to Tsitsikamma National Park en-route. After the opportunity to enjoy some optional activities in this coastal town we set off via the Garden Route to Oudshoorn, where visits to the Cango Caves and an Ostrich farm are included. read more »
